I prefer AA, or AAA with an adapter. I never really have to worry about charging since I already have a bunch of rechargeable NiMHs ready to go, and swapping takes 2 seconds. They also last for months of office use, and a bad battery won't turn the device into landfill.

I've owned the OG G502 for years. Recently bought this recently and I never knew that g502 was a little big for my hand. G309 fits great.

The only thing that puts me off this mouse is the lack of built in rechargeable battery. Apparently rtings says its a bit heavy using AA batteries but I do think it looks nice. Turns out I have $18 credit already at target so very tempted.

I've used IKEA rechargeable batteries in my g305 for years. Super easy to swap out. Rather have those than built in ones tbh, especially for a portable mouse like this.

Got the Logitech G309 for $42.50 when it was on sale for $49.99 and I had a 15% off storewide promo on my Target Account. I wonder if I should return and rebuy at $59.99 with $30 gift card or Amazon promo credit?
