imagine being 1/2 inch and doing 275lb feet of torque in 2026........ just drop the power tool line entirely.

I'm shy of Craftsman. Seeing that Sears closed stores and and all. They aren't competing well either on specs.

Let's not go that far - the new Craftsman CMCF811 1/4 brushless impact driver performs pretty darn well for the price (see torque test channel)

Their hand tools are ok. I started with them. Surprisingly didn't lose any of them.

Stanley Black and Decker, who also own DeWALT, owns the Craftsman line now. If you look at this impact wrench and a DeWALT mid torque/ dcf891 they're the same look.. one's red others yellow. Maybe some other differences.. but similar to a 1995 Chevy truck and 1995 GMC truck.. same damn thing, almost.
