EDIT: for the $150 discount to appear, click through as though you are setting up an EDU (don't have to actually register...), then double back and the EDU pricing will appear. When you go to check out, the EDU discount drops off but the $150 special discount remains!

$700 off the 14" TOTL model (32GB/1TB RAM) or 16" (16GB/1TB).

$600 off promo without Trade In ($450 + $150). This Stacks with the $100 First In App Purchase promo. It also stacks with .EDU discount.

Entry Level 14" 16GB/512GB is $849, might hit $749 but I didn't try it to confirm.

Add to cart in browser, log in, then toggle over to App cart for checkout.

Community Reviews

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 14 inch stands out as a thin, premium Windows laptop with a sharp OLED screen, strong build quality, and enough power for non gaming, non graphics heavy work. The 32 gigabyte memory and 1 terabyte SSD configuration is especially appealing for RAM heavy tasks like Stata. Several discount paths can push the price well below list, including browser based EDU click throughs, app promos, workplace, healthcare, and first responder offers. The main drawbacks are awkward port placement, limited charging from one side, and reports that Samsung has delayed shipping on some orders. A good fit if display and design matter more than raw value.

This (32 gb option) seems to fit my wife's need to use Ram heavy programs like Stata. But I have zero experience with Samsung laptops. Are they good to justify their marked price. I was able to replicate the additional promo hack as a healthcare worker but $30 more overall which I still good. Just trying to get some validation as I hate return process of anything.

Thanks y'all

Can you explain how to trigger the EDU discount? Do I need an account with a .EDU email address?
Click all of the links as though you had an EDU account and want to set it up/verify it. Do not need to fill in anything. Then double back to the page for the laptop and the EDU pricing (a long with the extra $150 off) will appear without doing anything else. It must set a cookie to know you clicked those links.

You cannot actually check out and get the fully discounted EDU price without the EDU account, when you go to checkout the EDU discount will disappear. But the extra $150 off promo will remain.

My take is that performance will be more than adequate for a non gaming, non graphics chip intense usage. I bought it for the screen, build quality, and the overall design. If you do not value the design or the screen then you can buy something else for less $.

I was able to get the $844.99 price as well. What I did was create an account and use id.me to verify (first responder). That lowered the price to $1,079.99. Then, I did the edu trick. You search Samsung education discount, click "create account," click "accept all" or the equivalent for all the policies, and click next. Return to cart, and the price is now $944.99. After that, I downloaded the app, logged in, and the extra $100 was off.

Amazing deal, thanks all!

Congrats, that is awesome~! Mine arrived and it is one sweet little rig. The AR coating of the screen is great, have not seen a better OLED as most are glossy and more reflective.

Are you guys worried about screen cracking on this device? There are many reports that the screen will crack on its own.

I am not, seemed anecdotal vs. Presumed volumes and many positive reviews. I'll be sure to double back here though if it does crack!

Is this because of the ram shortage? These were $740 a month or 2 ago. Not thread crapping on the deal, just genuinely curious. That's a 22% increase in like ~50 days.

Grabbed for 800 plus tax but still thinking about MBA. Cant see much difference between MacBook display vs this one. Tough choice.
