I got one of these in black a couple years ago.

Just purchased another in green last month - the new green jacket has maybe half the down of the older one. it's noticeably thinner.

It is genuine down (not polyester) at least, but the older jacket really knocked it out of the park for the price point.
That said, this is still probably among the best prices on the market for a new jacket with real down filling.

They're ultra light because they skimp on the down. Then again, it's $25 so what did you expect?

No.Return Shipping FeeWe do not provide free return shipping. We do provide pre-paid return shipping labels however, in order to provide you with the best products at the lowest prices day-in-day-out, we need to charge a $5.99 return fee to help cover return shipping & handling costs. This fee is not additional, and you will not be charged, it is automatically deducted from your refund amount.
Being deducted from the refund is the same as being charged.

Used this for the last 2-3 years. It is nice if it is like 30-40 degrees or more. It is pretty thin compared to the micro lux. If colder, get the microlux for same price. It is super warm and you don't even need to layer with it. With this, I'd wear another coat or two underneath when temps were 15 or below.

How does this compare to the Uniqlo Ultra Light Down jacket?
The uniqlo ultralight down jacket is one of that brand's flagship items and gets meticulous attention to design. Not comparable. Although even though it's a budget jacket at $79, that's still triple what the post costs

I bought it from last SD. It's warm (in 25-30F degree weather) and does pack into the additional purchased pouch....but is still a bit bulky. It's worth $25.

Agree with other comments about the fill being much less in the new versions. The older versions were fantastic value. Newer ones, not so much.

That's good to know. I got it in Japan for a lot less because of the weak Yen. I was curious about this cheap one as a backup or as a gift to someone since I had a good experience with that Uniqlo jacket, but I should have expected them to not be comparable.

This level of warmth, perfect for California coastal weather. And with a long sleeve under it you will be toasty.

Do you really expect them to pay to ship it to you and pay for you to ship it back at ZERO cost to you? It is amazing to me the entitlement these days. We wonder why companies go under...

Got this last year, the zipper isn't good and the fill is very low. Nothing special but it does its job as a lightweight jacket
