Stylus like this can represent an improvement versus using your finger but lets make a few things clear:

Apple Pencil supports 240Hz input whereas this will be limited to 60Hz just like your finger. This represents a big difference in accuracy and latency.
the "tilt" support here actually just the OS recognizing a different contact patch sizes based on the angle of the pen (larger angle = more contact area). It will affect the size of brush strokes in some apps, but it's not "real" altitude / azimuth data like the data reported by Apple Pencil and apps will treat it differently.
the "palm rejection" is just based on the capacitance / contact patch size of the stylus which makes it easily differentiable from the palm. It's the OS doing the palm rejection.
no support for hover, double tap actions, squeeze actions, barrel roll rotation, or pressure sensitivity

It's better than spending $80 on an Apple Pencil that will be outdated in a couple of months.
I own one of these. An issue I run into is the pencil will lag in writing or won't write at all, but it is a good device for kids who just want to write, draw, or color. Get a screen protector because the pencil will leave permanent scratches on the screen.

Well, this one won't work with anything released newer than 2024 so it's already outdated. 🤷

The Logitech Crayon was developed in a partnership with Apple and so it's actually recognized by the OS as a stylus. Logitech is the only company Apple allowed to do this (I think because Apple desperately needed a cheaper product to target education market). It results in lower latency, higher precision, and official tilt support but without the more advanced Apple Pencil features like hover, double tap actions, squeeze, barrel roll, or pressure sensitivity. So yes, I would expect the Crayon to be superior.
