3rd Party Seller. Generally, I try to avoid Walmart 3rd Party Sellers as there are too many scam sellers and junk products.

I wouldn't trust the joules rating on any of these no name brands. I'm sure it's fine for a regularl light duty power strip, but if you actually want surge protection buy something reputable and UL listed.

It is covered by walmart protection. You can either return in walmart or complain to customer care for full refund. 3rd party seller sent random product and when i chat with walmart CS they refunded full amount without need to return.

How much is your time worth? Especially when your ONDOG surge protector fails to actually protect anything - doesn't look like it has a warranty for connected equipment. Walmart won't help you chase down a company named ONDOG to recoup the costs of anything you had plugged in.

This looks good and seems cheap. Normally I would grab it but the comments and the brand name stopped me. Chinese companies lose my business when they come up with insulting names that mean something backwards or just sound childish like "LokiThor" or "DoYourData" (a Chinese software company nobody knows).

What is the point of surge protection of the individual AC outlets don't have automatic shutoff? Just guessing and praying you still have protection I guess.

Tripp-Lite (Eaton now) with Automatic AC shutoff after surge protection is gone, and the lifetime warranty is well worth the cost.
