Get a 12" or better yet a 15". Your hand will thank you.

This might be ok for 1/4 round or maybe as a bootleg chisel but that's all i can think it would be good for... maybe some little niche uses as well but the bigger flat bars are way more useful in general.

I like the small ones for a variety of non-nail tasks. It's a bit more beefcake than a screwdriver from prying open electronics cases or the occasional chiseling off glue. The also fit into a small toolbox or on pegboard.

I use a painters tool for stuff like that. This looks too thick for its length.
