Spoil yourself with something like a Green Bell or KAI clipper. I would have never thought it was worth getting a Japanese nail clipper but after trying them, they're really nice.

Unless you're just going to lose it, because they do cost 5-8x more than this.

Not to question the deal directly, but why the hell would anyone want/need to subscribe to a nail clipper? They don't exactly go bad.

If you had a pair, you'd understand. These shits disappear quicker than you can imagine. Literally own 20 of them, but he'll if I know where any of them are.

I am curious, what are the benefits? Longer lasting, better cut? They better for women vs men or vice versa?

They are sharper but I don't know about lasting as I lost it too

I pick these up when they go on sale and keep them in my fishing bag. Much safer than cutting a line with a knife.

This is actually the worst nail clipper ever. Bought 3 last time, and all broke pretty quickly. You're better off going to the dollar store.

Sharper, stronger metal. They cut your nails like a hot knife on butter. Its one of those things that I bought and am extremely happy with the purchase but also question the cost because the pair I had before was a Rite Aid branded one for $1 that I bought almost 20 years ago.... So considering if I only need to go through 3 more nail clippers for the rest of my life, will this Japanese one that costs $20-25 last me more than those cheap ones like this deal? They say buy once, cry once, but buying 5 of these to last a century vs $25 for one to last who knows how long is a toss up. Either way, neither broke the bank

I just ordered this and got it today. I'm not sure why the Slickdeals post labels it as "compact mini"; I don't see that in the product name. The one I received is a pretty normal size - I wouldn't call it mini.

You would be amazed at how some people can lose every set of nail clippers they touch.

Also, Revlon clippers are cheap, stamped metal junk these days. You may need a new pair for each finger nail you clip. 🤷

Thanks for stating the most obvious thing. You like the cheap thing, I like the good thing. Most people have never tried the good thing, or even considered trying the good thing.

If you have $14 get the good thing and enjoy it for the rest of your life.

Like another SDer commented, they cut through nails like hot butter. They are heavier and feel luxurious because they work so well.

I use mine every other week, they've lasted me years, they were worth the $14 premium and if you never even considered them, maybe it's worth considering. Unless you're too broke or snide to even consider it, then just don't worry about what you might be missing.

Because like you stated, they're obviously just nail clippers.
