Either the plastic hinges will break, or the boards will spread apart and difficult to fix.
One thing I would recommend, get some wall anchors. We got the nail-in ones that won't kill your wall, and have had no issues. Just drilled a small pilot where we wanted them. Without, this thing is very unstable.
My wife purchased one of this cabinets for my shoes in the mud room - maybe not this specific model - looks the same, but color is different - they're likely all made in the same place with similar dimensions ... just re-labeled or branded for different vendors on amazon, Wayfair, etc etc
Anyhow, I can't use it with dividers and have to put shoes in sideways; because I am a guy with size 12 shoes, sneakers, boots.
If I work at it I can stuff four pairs of shoes in.
Works perfectly fine as pictured for my wife's size 7 flat shoes.
Also, the hinges are very thin plastic and the backer and divider are thin paper board.
This is not like our old family shoe cabinet as a kid that was actually 12" deep, 3 feet or so wide, with four or five proper flat shoe shelves, that could hold men's shoes up to size 11 - 12.
