Just ordered the Magnifica Evo from Costco which is the same ballpark price. Is this really worth the MSRP? Worth returning to get this?

Stick with the Costco Magnifica. Have had one for a couple years now. Zero complaints.

Same experience with Evo. No issues over the year+. One suggestion (based on user mistake) - don't interrupt the decalcifying cycle once it's started.

The Ebay listing shows it has a two year warranty through Squaretrade/Allstate. That said, I have had nothing but trouble with them the past couple of claims and would not consider them a reputable warranty company any longer.

MY experience with lower range espresso machines makes me say yes, it's worth the few dollars extra.

Any bean will work as long as it's a medium-dark roast and it has been roasted no more than 4 months before the time of purchase. Trader Joe's has a nice assortment of single origin beans and beans from regional farms. They usually have the roasted date on the package. I found they've been the most affordable. You can also try your local coffee roaster in your area.
