Has the theory that these are really binned Exos and not Barracudas panned out? If they are transferring at 250 MB/s like someone reported, that would lead credibility to that theory.

I bought two last year and I could only reach about 170 MB/s

$10 or less per TB is usually a good deal. IMO still good since most stuff this size is going for $15/TB right now

I don't believe we will see 10/tb for a while. With AI demand, I've seen hard drive prices go back up. Which sucks as I just got into nas.
