I've owned the Mini 3 and have never had a problem with wind. I've flown it at the Cliff of Moher, Dolomites, Norway's Fjords and Swiss Alps and never had a problem. I do highly recommend the extra batteries tho. Also another tip, if you have the obstacle sensors turned on, remember you will over ride it with this drone by keeping your finger full force on the toggle. I learned the hard way. Ended up crashing it in a forest but was still able to find it with the GPS it provides.

Regarding B&H I ordered the Avata 2 Fly More Combo before Christmas because it was too good of a deal to pass up. It was on backorder but shipped two days ago. It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
Since I wasn't sure we would even get it I also ordered from Amazon before Christmas. It was the official DJI store on Amazon. It was the same price as B&H. It shipped and we got it a few days after Christmas.
I'm glad the one from B&H shipped because we will keep it too. This Avata 2 with Googles N3 (because some in our family wear glasses and the N3 supports that) is some of the best fun we have ever had. It is simply amazing doing FPV flying. The video recording quality is superb.
If you have any desire to get into FPV flying the Avata 2 is fantastic. It is our first "real" drone and we love it!

Pretty sure the "DJI Store" on Amazon is just a marketing page - not like buying from the actual DJI Online Store. If you click through, you're typically shown a product sold by a third party. That said, some of the third parties seem to be fine.

I actually tried to buy DJI Care for my 2-year-old Air 3 two days ago from DJI official website, but got notice saying I couldn't. I then called DJI, and the representative told me DJI no longer sell warranty due to US gov ban. You might want to take this into consideration.

I've owned the Mini 3 and have never had a problem with wind. I've flown it at the Cliff of Moher, Dolomites, Norway's Fjords and Swiss Alps and never had a problem. Parts for banned droned will likely be impossible for DJI to import, meaning if you have an issue with your drone, it'll be trash. Just something to keep in mind.

Same. My mini 2 handled the wind very well. I've never tried flying in wind above 25 mph though.Epic shots.
