It's been the same price at Best Buy for about a month now, and if you add a $26 Visible SIM to the purchase, that knocks off $50 from the price of the phone.

Additionally, in best buy at this specific moment(not sure until when this will be going on), if you buy a Visible sim card kit for $26, you get the $50 off an unlocked phone. Bringing the total price down to $106. Did it this weekend.
Why did you just repeat the comment that you quoted, did you mean to mention something different?

I really do not love this phone. Sure it has the typical things I still want in a phone: wireless charging, SD card, headphone jack, NFC, esim and physical sims, side thumb reader that is quick. It's totally usable. But the phone gets bugs and slow sometimes switching apps and unlocking screens. My biggest gripe is when talking on the phone my face will start turning on flashlights, changing the pull down settings, and I hear all the system noises going crazy as if I'm tapping them. I'll check the phone when this is happening and the proximity sensor is working fine as the screen is still black. I've watched it do it while sitting on the car's wireless charger. I've factory reset the phone and it still does it. My wife has the same phone and had reported similar issues.
I recently switched to the moto stylus 2025 on the straight talk deal and in the last 45 days, the phone is much snappier, has all the same features, and no random button pressing. Plus it is cheaper than this deal.
This is the 2024 version. 2026 version came out the beginning of December.
I have this phone. It's fine. The only power part of it is the 8gb of ram suck the power up quicker than my mom's non power version and is exactly the same phone.
I also personally hate the side finger print sensor. I had a 2020 stylus and the finger print senor was smack in the back and worked a lot better.
Perfectly fine phone I'll use for the next two years in but just get the normal G one, it's exactly the same phone with a different processor and less ram but it's a phone, how fast do you need to load cat videos and p0rn?
"Model Name Moto G Power 5G 2024"
OP, it would be helpful if you added "2024 model" to your title.
I agree

Don't know if this is going to help slickdeal users that much but .. bought this as a phone for my mother in law who although she's the sweetest person you're every going to meet is not exactly what you'd describe as someone who is glued to her cell phone or someone who spends a lot of time on the internet.. so for a "very casual cell phone user" (for lack of a better phrase ) the cell phone is working out great for her two years later ... or to put it another way someone who really just uses the cell phone for calling people and/or casual reading on the internet to pass the time as opposed to say gaming on the phone or putting "important" stuff on there like say the websites/apps of the financial institutions you do business with (and honestly my mother in law would be far more likely to do that sort of business on her computer anyways).
Bought it for $200 two years ago so it's nice to see the price drop... word of warning though, after the last phone case fell apart (mom in law lives in a tropical environment which apparently encourages dry rot) I discovered options were limited far as finding a phone case for this given it's a 2024 model... didn't have any problems with a supershieldz screen protector being readily available from amazon however.

The Moto Stylus line is absolutely fantastic. I agree with you.

Can you return the unopened SIMs afterwards and keep the discount on the phones?
