Would probably look too small for my 98" TV, huh? It's about 86" edge to edge, and the feet are roughly 72in apart

It would still fit (feet) as this is 74.5in wide. The perfect size for an 85 inch TV. And still nice for 75in TVs

You would be risking an accident with the feet only an inch away from the edge unless you secure them somehow. That would be my main concern.

I would likely secure the back to the wall somehow. I wonder uf there are VESA mountable inserts that allow you to tie to the wall so it doesn't tip over, like in IKEA furniture
