Do any of these output MHL from a One+8?
My phone screen is dead and I need to back it up. I used to have one that I just plug it in the TV and phone and boom instant second screen. Cant find it and dont even remember the name of the brand.
I dont think I can replace the screen without further damage it.
Exceedingly poor adatper. Get a the belkin or sabrent ones floating around for 5-10$ more. This one has had consistent issues with video outputs.
I second Kaze_Horosha. I got a couple of these adapters a while ago. They worked fine for a couple of months. Then HDMI stopped working on one. It failed on the other sometime soon after.
Every other port works just fine though. So if you don't need HDMI, this is MAY BE a good deal.

Oneplus 8 doesn't use MHL for video output. It uses DP alt mode.
Any USB-C to HDMI adapter would work. You'll need an adapter like in the OP to add a USB mouse to control the phone and unlock it (since your display doesn't work).

I actually took mine apart, there's issues with how well the ports are attached to the board. Very weak connection for a cable that tends to put some stress on it...

I got one like this but not Ugreen brand and it doesn't work although it looks exactly the same.
One of these worked a couple years ago on my phone but I forgot which one.
It could be like other posts here mention that it work for a short time and then die?

To be quite honest, I don't have a ton of experience with UGREEN products. The only products I own are basic USB hubs (to add more USB ports to a device) and their Type C adapters (convert Type C to A and vice versa).
They don't get a ton of use (maybe 3-4 times a year), so I can't speak on quality. They do work every time I need them and they still work today (likely because I rarely use them).
