Meh, only a 4 amp charger. You'll be wasting more time waiting for batteries to charge than working.
Come on DeWalt, include a respectable charger for people handing over their money for high capacity batteries!!!

a battery can last you a day. You get two charge both and start using, you are good.

Just curious as I'm just a hobbyist—what tool will chew through a battery fastest? Worst-case scenario, how long (assuming sustained, professional use) would that tool actually last with one of these 5Ah batteries? I'm buying the 5" orbital and I've put some brutal hours in sanding things improperly lol but I value those mistakes and would prefer to be able to make them (if that makes sense). I have a 2Ah and the difference in power for a tool like my circular saw is unmistakable — even with my standard 20V drill it's obvious, but I wonder how much this would impact a less "torque-y" tool like the orbital sander, as frankly I'd prefer a lighter battery when I'm doing repetitive motions woth my arm for longer periods.

lol I probably should've mentioned it isn't my ONLY battery—I've tried all my batteries on all my tools just to see the differences between them. It'll work... on cardboard. 😂
