I don't know that anyone is paying the retail price for this, but the charger plus 2 batteries seems like a pretty good deal at this price.

I keep a slow charger and never use the rapid ones to extend the life of my M18s, am I doing it wrong?

If you are not in a hurry when you charge your batteries, use the slow charger. I don't care what they say, heat is a batteries enemy. When you fast charge the battery gets hot inside, so while the chargers with fans may help, the battery has still gotten hot. Your instincts are correct.
