From what I see, this tool extends the total continuous battery usage time. And prob also provide max power to the tool longer since it is ganging 3 batteries. But Isn't it easier just to swap out the battery when it is drained so you don't have to carry all that weight on you?

I was just thinking that. How fast could you feasibly drain one of those batteries? 30 minutes? So you'd be lugging around an extra two batteries AND all of the added weight and hassle of the harness? I think a pair of belt attached batteries holders would probably make more sense.

I've never used something like this, but I image it would be most useful for power hungry outdoor power equipment, and maybe offloading weight from the tool to a backpack isn't too bad.
If it lightens the load for weight extended away from the body (e.g. blower, pole saw) maybe the extra pounds on the back is relatively fine. But it probably is for certain use cases and probably not for a typical user with a suburban or urban yard work.

I could definitely see this fool being used for a large lawn or continued years maintenance. This is for someone who might be doing a large area. Very convenient if you ask me.
