Do people buy these for the taste or something? It seems cheaper and more convenient just to take an extra vitamin c tablet.

I actually take these for the electrolytes and B vitamins. I wish it didn't have so much vitamin C because megadosing on C is correlated with kidney stones. The reason people feel good after taking these is likely due to the B vitamins.
