Don't wash it off. Buff it off with a buffer or clean microfiber cloth.

I enjoy detailing as a productive hobby. I'm not a pro, just a DIY'er doing it in my garage or driveway and i typically stick with retail products.
I really didn't like the ArmorAll Podium series exterior detailer. I used it on a freshly cleaned and still wet SUV without any existing wax coating, hoping it would be a drying aid and provide some protection. It gave practically zero lubrication for your microfiber cloth going over your paint. Felt terrible compared to pretty much any other detailer that I've used. Additionally, after application, it provided no protection. I tested it a day later on a vertical panel with some water, and the water stuck to the vertical panel and barely ran off. No water beading whatsoever.
The only real plus was the scent, it smelled like cologne. I also liked the bottle and presentation; it was a good looking product on the shelf.
I was so disappointed with the way it performed that i returned my unused portion after using it once. This was a swing and a miss from ArmorAll. The competing products from Turtle Wax or Maguiars, are much better in my opinion.

Glad I only paid $2.50 for it today. lol. But, if you have some recommendations for some other ceremic products that don't break the bank I'd be interested in hearing about them.
I have a vehicle I want to get well cleaned up before I put it under a cover.
