In all honesty, it really comes down to the brand. Scuf is a high end controller brand.

Scuf is expensive, but you are at least getting Hall effect joysticks. It should last a lot longer than an Xbox controller. But you can get controllers that are better and cheaper than xbox and use Hall Effect Joysticks.
