It's dual sided Chuck, nothing to do with feet. Poor naming by who ever.

Own this and swapped the inflator portion with a clamp on attachment from HF to make it one hand function. It's nearly impossible to inflate a flat bike scooter inner tube with its current configuration by yourself.

You're better off buying a different model that comes with a clamp on inflator already, cheaper than paying for another piece to swap out.

I have this Kobalt air inflator as well. Can confirm the pressure gauge is horribly inaccurate.

Better to use a decent standalone digital psi gauge. Most "stick" style gauges aren't very accurate to be fair.
