Have bought several laptops and things from them over the years. Never had a problem aside from "certified refurbished" items actually being open box or used. I think they mostly deal with returns/refurbs and "new" old stock items.

I don't know but I have a similar JBL soundbar, but without the subwoofer, and it's pretty good. I just got this for the subwoofer.
The only annoying feature is that it turns off automatically after 10 or 15 minutes without sound. So if you pause the TV and go back after a while you have to turn it on again. It is a minor pain, IMO.

I've had horrible experiences w/ VIP outlet. Well just with their items. I had missing remotes, power adapters, cables, etc...

There was no problem in returning them but hauling a long soundbar w/ subwoofer to the post office or UPS was inconvenient. Good deal if it really is new but given their reputation it isn't.

Again, they will accept returns and pay for return shipping if you want to take the risk.

For $76 I took a chance, as others have said, if it's not brand new then back it goes. I think this thing retail'd at $249.
