I've had this model for a couple years and really like it. There are probably better or stronger options (watch Torque Test Channel) but for anyone who is already in the Ridgid ecosystem it is a good tool IMO

Thanks. Project farm rated it average. But since I have the others, might as well get this too

Hmmm I didn't see that PF video. Make sure it's not an older version he is reviewing. Torque Test Channel rates it as a legit tool. Not the absolute strongest or best but if you already have the Ridgid stuff otherwise why would you want to have to buy a more expensive tool with new batteries

It seems rigid has 3 impact models. Need to make sure you know which one you are buying and what your needs are.

Yes indeed. They have a brushless Mid Torque and a brushless High Torque and then a non brushless Mid Torque that is cheaper and larger. I wouldn't take that last one unless really cheap. I like the Mid Torque. For someone who actually needs a High Torque for Honda crank bolts and shit then sure but otherwise these High Torque tools are notably larger and heavier and so not as comfortable for normal lugnuts and bolts

I have this and use it professionally every day at a tire shop. Works well for most passenger vehicles. If you work on trucks you might want to get the high torque version. Overall good tool. Just ordered another one
