It's a PVP/PVE extraction shooter set in monster filled post civil war Louisiana. You will play as a hunter sent to kill the local boss, banish it and bring back the proof of completion of the mission. The PVP is against other human hunters with guns competing for the proof of completion. You'll be going through old brick buildings, worn down wood houses, shacks, and barns. Lots of zombies, zombie hounds, bee swarm controlling women, fire monsters walking around. Your equipment is mostly realistic guns and knives but with a little magic adding full heal syringe, necromancer magic to pick up your dead friend from a distance, remote detonation bombs, etc.
I don't think there is a another game quite like it. The setting is very unique, the monsters and bosses are unique and interesting, the binaural sound is maybe the best in any PVP game. The accuracy of the sound lets you use your ears somewhat like you would your eyes. Most games focus on visual information. I never thought about what I can hear until this game.
The gun play is great. One bullet to the head kills so the Time-to-Kill is very low. Some fights swing wildly back and forth. It gives you a chance even in 3 v 1.
The game is hard to learn, you'll need to learn how to handle each monster, your equipment, get familiar with the map, etc. If you'd just like to play a little tourist visit around this world I'd recommend playing the tutorial and then some Bounty-Clash with friends or random team. It's a quick low stakes game mode. People go in expecting to lose money. Then play the main mode Bounty-Hunt, meet the 4 bosses and the Alligator. Uninstall or keep playing.
