Tempting because it charges instead of using those quarter size batteries. Probably great for cold evening dog walks, but I think I'll stick to my actual flashlights and ear buds. This is probably an example of doing everything okay vs using dedicated things that do their singular purpose well.

that's what I was hoping for... I use a lighted one for running but you have to remove the battery pack to wash it. Having podcasts with no headphones would be awesome.

I have the Bluetooth-only version of this and it works way better than I thought it would (at least for audiobooks and podcasts). It's perfect for people like me who don't like the feeling of earbuds being pushed into your ears by a stocking cap. Also, it's fairly easy to remove the electronics so you can throw the cap in the wash.

The only negative is you lose your audio if you get sweaty and take the cap off.
