Best 4K 240 refresh rate deal going right now. I'm tempted to pull the trigger. But might wait to see if prices come down more when the newer panels come out

My 34" gigabyte was trash. So I thought fark it, go all out and get a $1200 viewsonic elite 200hz mini-led. Sucks donkey balls. Then I thought let's get this ROG swift 27" 4k OLED.
Then I saw the price and was like I'll wait.
Then I saw this. I only have a 3090 so 4k gaming won't really happen. Should I just take my chances?

nah this OP post is a newer tech with the new Tandem OLED from LG and a faster 240hz panel. This is actually trueblack 600 certified so definitely a better and nextgen panel! If this wouldve come in a 32in size with the same specs and 100$ more i would not hesitate in a heartbeat!
with that said, im still waiting for my lg 32in 4k dual mode oled from bestbuy and we'll see if i like that compared to my current samsung 32in 4k qd oled.

good price, good specs, i like my Gigbyte 34'' WQHD IPS monitors...
but 27'' seems very small for 4K, i'd certainly want a larger screen, seems like a waste.

i do have a Yoga 910 with a 13.9'' 4K screen, it's idiotic without scaling to 200%, which Windows still largely sucks at (the screen was the only way to get 16G RAM at the time, otherwise i wouldn't have.)

Costco still has the Dell S3225QC (4k QD-OLED, USB-C PD 90W, 120hz) for $499. It's got some compromises but I got one and so far it works great for my use cases.

Wait...serious question. Do prices ever come down on anything anymore? I'm not sure it's allowed in this timeline. 🙁
