I just peel off labels from used whey protein containers to repurpose for pet food storage. They're air tight enough to keep the kibble fresh.

These containers also make great storage for lawn care stuff like left over lawn fertilizers and grass seeds. . just make sure to toss out (recycle) the ones that had toxic chemicals after they're done so you don't accidentally mix them with pet food containers

I use empty (and well washed) gallon containers from coconut oil for kibble. The one advantage this would have is stackability.

I think the gasket-seal Sterilite container Walmart has been selling for $6.97 for over a year has more space and better seal.

WAiting for the larger one to go on sale. Protein containers are a nice idea, should've saved those form my youth
