I keep seeing this 66ft string come on sale. Even for a 6-8ft tree, 66ft seems too short. Do people connect multiple 66ft strings together, or do people have dwarf trees?

I have a six foot tree and use this. It's "just" enough. But let's say 80' feet or longer would be better. They can be quite bright so that makes up for the larger spacing. But two of these on a six foot tree would be ridiculous.

Yeah, I don't think the 66 foot one will be enough for a larger tree. We have a 7 foot tree that we usually put about 600 lights on, and this is only 250 lights total. I plan on using this on a smaller pencil tree in our dining room.

I have a 6 foot tree and the twinkly brand 600 lights version which is 160ft and let's just say 3 years ago I got the 400 lights one and quickly upgraded to the 600 when they went on sale. Any less just made the tree look empty.

Practically everything else in my house is Govee so I'm a fan, but these lights at this costs is not a good value.

I have the twinkly 600led count one which is 157ft and it's a perfect amount for a 6 ft tree. I originally had their 400 led one and felt it wasn't enough, especially for something that's meant to be mapped and controlled individually.

I used these for the past season. As others said, it was just barely good enough for my 6.5' slim (not pencil) tree. I wasn't able to get a good "off white" color that I was happy with. Also, for the twinkle effect, you can see the LEDs change color as they flicker -- like a brief moment of red before turning off momentarily -- which I didn't love.

There is a way to sync your light strings as long as they are the same series.

You can create a "group" and select the devices you'd like to sync.

They will act as one continuous string for the same effect on both strings.

I speak from experience after facing this frustration last month...it does work and the possibilities seem endless!

Enjoy and I hope info this helps someone!

Happy New Year everyone!

I bought the 99 ft version to replace some Twinkly 600 count that went out. These were sooooo much better because of the Govee app. I actually bought two sets but didn't need the second so I returned.

I'll never buy Twinkly again. I had the 600 count and half of them stopped working. They were like double the price of what I paid for with Govee.

But I'll probably do some TruTone C7s this year and figure out a different place to put the Govees.

Does anyone know how many watts this set uses?

More importantly, does the wattage DECREASE if you lower the brightness? I have the 600 bulb twinkly and then the 120 curtain twinkly lights and one thing that drives me crazy is that they use the full wattage whether it's set to 1% brightness or 100%. Might as well jack it up to 100% brightness but it sucks because my electricity bill is higher (I live in one of the most expensive electricity rates in the world. F|_|CK PG&E!)

I have a 7 foot tree that is a fake doug fir, and the 66' would not have been enough. We went with the 99' and it has about 3-4 feet of unused strand at the bottom. The longer one sold out quickly.

The big downside to the 66' is that the strands of lights can't be plugged into each other.
