Personally never had any issue w code redemption for games or xbox gamepass. Used it probably a dozen times.

I bought this over the weekend no issues at this price. Please keep in mind this is only for the Xbox console and will not work on PC like some other games. I think there is also promo code CD13 right now which will bring down the price further.
