Have this in my garage for light duty work. Small enough to swivel out of the way when not using it. Basically just another set of hands for holding parts. Small anvil area if you need to tap lightly on something. Not a heavy duty vice you can misuse as a press.

It's a nice little vice. As the metal worker I wouldn't like do any heavy pounding on it or stuff, but like the previous poster said, it's an extra set of hands.And it has grips for pipe. You can't go to harbor freight and get 20 bucks. I have vices that are four or five hundred dollars.So for twenty bucks, you can't beat it.

Same. Based off the comments here it's horrible. Looking at reviews it's solid cast iron and I don't see why it wouldn't be good for little things like a spare set of hands holding mower blades or to hold things to file or sand etc.

All the hate comments are stupid. Try to find any Old used garbage vice for less than $150. Good luck! This is great for hobbiest, woodworking and does the job unless you want a hydraulic press stop bitchin. Saved me a lot of money during difficult times. I bought for 26 back in 2020
