Link needs to be updated.

What's the thoughts? The only thing that troubles me is the proprietary motherboard which I hate. Was thinking CyberPower, MSI or iBuyPower. Think Lenovo is the same as Alienware for their motherboards

Proprietary motherboard, headers, and PSU. They also may intentionally underclock/underpower to keep temperature and noise down

What do you think? Wait for another similar spec deal? Or the limited motherboard & PSU is worth the troubles or deal breaker?

You're already limited by Arrow Lake and nobody buying an Alienware swaps the motherboard so its not really a deal breaker. But if you already have access to Microcenter I would just wait a few days/weeks til another non-Alienware goes on sale.

I heard of the bottlenecks of Arrow. Should I wait for the next Intel CPU announced? Or what other CPU from AMD is better than the Ultra 9?

If you find one buy it asap. Prices are increasing on new stock and will only get more expensive as Nvidia and AMD gimp GPU supply.

Best Buy can price match and deciding to purchase or not. If I should wait for another deal with more customizable desktop

Can I add another 32GB of ram to it (will it have 4 slots)? Or do I need to buy 64GB of ram (32GB x 2)?

If you can afford to buy more ram. Have you checked ram prices lately? LMAO

Might want to check the Dell Alienware Outlet. They have some decent deals on the Aurora and the Area-51 models. I just bought the Area 51 (Like New) with same specs but 64 gigs of DDR5 6400 Ram and a Gen5 SSD for only about $1200 more. That may sound like a lot but again 64 gigs of ram can run about $800 now... and the Area-51 doesn't use proprietary stuff anymore so a DIY can upgrade it much easier.

Why do you hate the mobo? Are you planning to upgrade the components for real or just swept up in the prebuilt hate? Realistically how likely are you to upgrade the components (and mobo specifically) in a couple years with this strong config, vs just getting a completely new rig and selling this one?

I got mine with these specs and it rocks.

I have the exact same specs. I play on 3440 by 1440, max settings AAA titles. GPU at 97% and CPU at 76%. Whoever said bottlenecking is either playing at lower res or lower settings for super high FPS.
