Personally, I would shy away from these sub-100 benches.I don't know about this bench specifically. But I made this mistake once. They don't last, and doing anything slightly over 100 on them just feels sketchy AF. If it were me, I'd spend the extra cash and get either RITFit or Keppi. They break the $300 mark, but at least you know they fall over on you mid-press.

If you're doing light weight dumbell presses you'll probably be fine. If you're a new year resolutioner and just starting, skip the bench and buy a couple of cheap dumbells, come back to the bench if you stick with it.

It's very small. It's 12" off the ground. Better for a child or smaller female.

720mm back means your head will be hanging off of this thing, zero support. That's a tiny man photoshopped onto that bench. I have a similar cheap bench. I'm lurking in these pages as I need a new, adult size bench.

I don't normally put all my weight on a bench when I'm doing bench press. My legs are flat on the ground so my full weight is generally not on the bench. Based on the videos, it does look relatively small, but the compact space is part of its selling point for some people.
How are your legs flat on the floor when laying on a bench? If your feet are flat on the floor, then 100% of your weight is still on the bench.

you don't need the bench to do that, just ask gemini "Make me look more muscular" and give it an image Frown
that's not all I'd need gemini to change!

I meant to say my legs aren't on the bench. My feet are on the floor, knees bent 90 degrees.

I just bought this bench a couple of weeks ago. It's a 'you get what you pay for' weight bench. To me, it feels like they should have made the leg base extend out perpendicular a few more inches because it feels wobbly - especially when you're going down flat with dumbbells. It feels cheap, but it is getting the job done.

12" off the ground....LOL. Look at any of the review photos. Clearly far higher than 12".

Heck, in the product video it appears to be roughly as high as the sofa in the background....which seems about right. Not to mention, the person is kneeling, yet the platform is over their waste height.

I bought this bench at $80 several months ago and am happy with it. Well worth it at $60.
Just don't expect to compare it to the benches at your local gym -- this one is way more lightweight, which IMO is good for home. Sturdy enough too so that I don't feel like it'll fall apart.
