This is a six month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate code deal that works out to about $16 a month, with the purchase made up of two three month codes. The codes are reported to come directly from Microsoft and can extend an existing Ultimate membership, with redemption working for some accounts and even stacking both codes successfully. The main caveats are region mismatches and occasional redemption problems, including already redeemed or used codes. It is most compelling for players who will actually use the library, cloud gaming, and launch access enough to offset the subscription cost.
Subscribers already on Ultimate who want to extend their membership, because the codes can stack onto an existing plan.
Moderate to heavy gamers who finish multiple titles in a few months, because the library access and launch-day playtime can cost less than buying each game outright.
Players who like trying new AAA and indie games without buying them, because the subscription lets them sample titles they might not otherwise pay for.
Xbox and PC players who want cloud gaming or handheld downloads, because the subscription works across those devices and includes downloadable PC titles.
Players who want a short, finite window to clear backlogged games, because three-month codes give enough time to finish missed content before letting the plan lapse.
Players who only finish one or two games a year, because the subscription can cost more than buying the few titles they actually play.
Buyers who need every code to redeem cleanly on the first try, because some codes can arrive already redeemed or locked to the wrong region.
Players who want the cheapest possible monthly rate, because cheaper alternatives exist through shorter codes or other bundles.
Gamers who prefer owning their library permanently, because once the subscription ends, the included games are no longer playable.
