I heard something about its the canadian version? They may not honor warranty in usa? IDK.
The thing is the 930 is quickly evident is not a product meant to be sold in the USA at all. For example it will only come up on Samsung Canadas website, not Samsung USA.
Not trying to scare anybody off idk.
To me this seems better than 990D for my needs, it only seems to lack the better sub and two speakers, but 600 is much more palatable. This would surely blow my mind coming from a $198 Vizio with a pathetic 4.7" sub, no up firing speakers etc
BTW this has been on woot for this the entire time the past month at least. Guess it just gets reposted like the 990D EPP deals every so often

That said, I bought the 930C a few years back from one of these woot deals and it's been great. I purposely bought the 930 because the bar is a few inches shorter than the 990. I'm constrained on space for the bar so the 930 was my only option. If i recall correctly, the 930 bar has (or had) 2 fewer speakers in the bar and a little less oomph in the sub. Guessing it has a smaller amp ( it weighs less than the 990 sub). Not sure about this gen though. The rears are the same between the 930 and 990. Hope that helps.

good to know. i had found some q930 listings on bb and they were long discontinued so i assumed.
yeah in general like i said the q990 seems a bit overkill for me in price and capability. in fact i find this in general in soundbars, if you want something nice with upfiring speakers theres a real gap in that 400-500 range you'd think somebody could fill. it's typically like buy a 200 vizio or pay 1000+ for the 990 and nothing worth buying in between (i know it's not literally the case)
For the sub I have nearby neighbors (subdivision with houses stacked beside each other) and I'm old, so i dont want overkill on the sub. i'm sure whatever the 930 has would be way more than enough. The JBL bars really seem to go overkill on the subs, 10" and such, yikes.
The only step up in Samsung's current lineup is their flagship model, the HW-Q990F, which typically retails for double to triple this deal.
