No, it's modeled after Optimus Prime from the game Transformers Devastation.

Not exactly. the 86 line Prime is the leader class version. This one is more for the video game Transformers Devastation. They also got a War for Cybertron line that matches the games.

Ahhh, there's a throwback. Will they be doing a FoC Prime as well?

I have no idea. I was not really a fan of the vehicle modes in the game and I imagine the sales were also not that great for the War for Cybertron line. Most of their good sales are from the G1 or 86 line as those have been hits. Transformers gets really carried by the cartoon in the 80s.

If you dont have a cell shaded style Prime, here's a cheap option, especially when it was in like half the walmart $15 2 packs around BF. I'm not a fan of this mold though, and its the only figure so far from the SS Gamer Edition Devastation ones that I refuse to get. It just is so small for a Prime figure and feels cheaper than it should at the price point, to me

The only Transformers that looked good were the ones with the metal. The plastic makes them look like they're bootlegging themselves
