Your obligatory reminder that Dr. Martens sold out to overseas production and their entire manufacturing process which used to be awesome went to garbage. If you want "real" Dr. Martens, buy Solovair, who bought their machines and actually makes well-made boots.

If you are so insecure that you need strangers to validate your shoes purchase, therapy should be for you.

I like the POV pic from the sole because it affirms they're ugly not just on the visible parts.

I won't be anywhere near this price, though, outside of a clearance section.

While this is true, I'll add my two cents that I've had this pair of boots (in a different color) for two years, and I've worn them basically every single day. A few months ago the glue on the front started to come undone, so I took it to a cobbler and for $20 they fixed it up again. I'm not a fan of olive, but if I needed some boots that can survive heavy use for a couple of years, at this price I'd still consider them. Though obviously it's better to save up and get some nice ones that will last a generation, if you can

Tried on a pair of these in a show store once. Had a hard time getting my foot in. The boot opening is too small.

Buy cheap garbage, or spend the money up front for well-made products that will last far longer than the cheap garbage.

I have these in both maroon and black and can confirm this to be true. I sized up for the black pair and it's better but it's still tough to get them off after you've worn them all day. As to the quality I've had my maroon pair for about six years and use them to work in after I scuff them up. They have held up the glue has held up. There's been no big problems even though they're not "real" Dr. Martens.

If you want to buy a shitty, ugly product and confuse people about your sexuality, this is the product for you!

Seems like only size 13/14 left.

Is this real leather? It looks so fake in the pictures.
