I have one, it's great BUT as far as locking, you will need a tiny lock, or drill through the top to accommodate something bigger. You have to attach the lock with the lid cracked open. But these aren't exactly meant to be heavily secure units. It'll keep the kids out.

FWIW, I got this outdoor box that looks "similar" (https://www.amazon.com/NBYSGO-Out...B0FDQHFXQM - possibly rebranded) to this one and my boys broke the plastic hinges (pretty flimsy overall) after a week. They were probably a little too rough (I wasn't there to confirm) but just a heads up. I wouldn't recommend this box (if it's the same).
