I have 2 of these. You have to replace the batteries like every 3 weeks. If they were rechargeable they'd be so much better. Do not recommend.

I've been using the Glade ones for years. I wonder how this compares. As expected, I guess the scent cartridges are expensive like the ones for the Glade diffuesers. I have actually found cartridges for Glade at Dollar Tree, but the scent is not as strong as the Glade or even Great Value ones from Walmart.

How difficult would it be to open the refills and add your own oils? Like pop it open with a flat headed screwdriver?

I did open up the bottle that came with the device - with the flat-head screwdriver like you mentioned - and tried filling it up with a refill scent that I had purchased for a reed diffuser but the device stopped spraying the scent after I inserted the refilled bottle. :-(

I always using BBW wallflowers. This is something new my friend gave me as a gift a while ago, sorry to say I'm not a fan...It needs 3 batteries. Then that light I don't think I can turn it off, so basically it turns on by itself depends on how high you set the desired level. Then every time it turns on the light turns on then off. It only turns on for like 5 secs. Batteries lasted like 2 weeks for me. Then also after a while the oil gets a weird smell. She got me vanilla, and it smells like vanilla with baby powder and makes me cough. I stopped using it after battery died.

I was thinking the same. Did you have any issue with leaking after filling the bottle up? I just put in a new bottle in mine and it stayed lit and didn't recognize it was new. I simply took out a battery to reset and it worked again.

I take the reed out of wallflowers with pliers and fill these bottles up with the wallflower scents I like. I have reused each refill about 3x and they work fine.

If you are seeing the light but no vapor coming out, play around with the concentration of your refill. I usually had to add more water and swirl the bottle pretty intensely to mix the water and oil.

Was thinking about trying this but if no scents are included is this really a good deal?
