Heads up this is the Brushed version which is way inferior to the brushless model.

What makes it inferior? The mere presence of brushes rather than a brushless motor doesn't make it inferior

The on/off switch breaks easier on this. It still has the LSA but read the reviews and make your choice. Brushless is a nice plus but not a requirement in my opinion.

If you are a tradesman...its probably good to have the brushless. The average hobby guy won't know. Its $159 for the brushless.

Picked one up last week. I have a plug in unit, but this is so much more convenient and works great.

I had this one. I sold it and bought the brushless version. This tool has far more vibration transmitted directly to your hand. Use it for an hour or two and you'll wish you'd bought the brushless version.

I bought their $229 brushless hammer drill with impact drive and got a free oscillating tool. I registered the LSA the day I received the tools. It took them weeks to review the LSA registration. They could not verify the receipt despite me uploading it. They did not notify me that they could not verify the receipt either. If I didn't check back within the 90 day window which I normally won't have if I am not notified of any problems. I had a hunch and checked back, low and behold, I only have 45 days left to correct the problem that they never reached out to me about. If you guys are buying Rigid for the LSA, make sure you stay on top of it and check regularly until the LSA is approved. If you guys don't care about LSA, then buy a brand that does not rely on offering an LSA to sell tools.
