Great find! Now if we can just find something to stack with this we'll really be cooking.

I believe $680 or so is the current lowest this has been via EPP/EDU not including codes etc...

Many of those orders got canceled. I can confirm this actually ships, as mine just did!

you could also stack with the paypal 20% off bnpl deal going on then to get it for about 550.

I have been watching price of this soundbar for months. For several months you could buy it at $680 all day long. A month ago someone found a coupon lowering price by 10%, that was sweetened by cashback site offering another 10% on Samsung soundbars. Samsung could have just invalidated the coupon for future purchases, but they invalidated, cancelled all placed orders AND increased the price. Told people they are out of stock but happy to sell you one for increased price. A really a$$hole move. Anyone defending their pricing please know that even at 550 they are likely making at least 25-50% margin (after delivery). It is not the cost of manufacturing and transport that makes bulk of the price, but a cost of engineering, tooling and advertising. All of which are end of life (or reused on new iteration). I have been a firm supporter of Samsung products, but this petty move by them makes me expand my choices.
Going back, no this is not a good price.

So do tell us what other premium soundbar you can buy in this price range. So you're mad, they caught on to the discount stacking and canceled orders? Mine was one of the cancelled ones and I did reorder with the total price of $781 after taxes. Mind you I already own one from a previous sale. If this makes you mad, you should be furious of the TV price increases.

Bass is the only obvious difference. Search how the bass sounds between the two and pick your camp.

What makes me mad is not even that they cancelled orders, but that they have provided bull reason (or no reason) and increased the price, while saying it is out of stock. Buying at an increased price is NOT a slick deal. Just a purchase.
Alternative is a myriad of LG S95TR floating on marketplace and fleabay for about $600-700. Those came with some TV deals and people are trying to offload. I am just waiting for something very local to pop up, and make no mistake they are popping up more and more often. Having LG B4 83, the S95TR should be no worse than 990D at normal listening volume and allow a nice graphic interface, wireless connectivity and maybe wow orchestra...if it syncs right.

You are right they didn't notify customers of the cancellations; I learned the reason only after logging in and noticing the cancellation and then opening a chat session. I was one of the people that received the LG S95AR (successor to the TR) with my 83" G5 order. I was able to sell it on ebay for $995, which netted me $775. There are lots of reviews that claim the LG S95 being slightly less capable than the Samsung with the biggest drawback being the LG doesn't support HDMI 2.1 passthrough for gamers, whereas, the Samsung does. I am not a gamer, so that really wouldn't have meant much to me. I already had a q990d in my master bedroom before ordering the G5 and decided I would sell the soundbar and buy another Samsung for one of the other bedrooms, mainly the one my son stays in when he visits, as he is a gamer. I am not hating on the LG soundbar, since I never used it in my setup and it make work great for those who have it.

750$ been price for couple weeks, i ordered on dec24, and their targeted delivery got delayed, however finally received yesterday 1/8. I thought, I missed 680 price, but sounds like comments here most of those orders were cancelled.
I had chatted(rant furiously) with CS after geting delayed delivery email, and told the past years experiences with Samasung delaying and then cancel after that, if it was ordered on Deal price. I told them why you are still taking orders and promise the new order with delivery sooner than my revised(after delay) delivery date...I don't think that matter for 1 customer to complain like this. Comments here does seem similar experiences...
