Just FYI this cpu isn't supported for windows 11. Yes you can technically bypass it but I can make a 100% guarantee that in the near future it will no longer do windows updates. Ask how I know? I've had to work on machines that were stuck and effectively blocked from Microsoft despite being able to run windows 11. They stopped receiving all the updates including drivers. I've seen machines become essentially stuck because of this. It's not worth it. Windows has to be reinstalled. Most people are not tech savvy enough to figure this out. I don't recommend it.

100% true this CPU is not officially supported and hacks were used to go Windows 11 to install. Yes, ive done it for my old hardware, but non technical buyers need to be aware

At this price point, this is mostly not a longevity run...

Can anyone recommend a laptop with LARGER screen bezels? The one inch bezels on this unit aren't big enough for me! /s

I'd consider elders of this vintage to be Linux-only machines (I have an even older and weaker Inspiron that works great as a media PC)

This is a bad deal. I've been in the market for a used computer and have seen 11th gen processors on ebay for about the same price.

Terrible CPU & performance by today's standard but does have thunderbolt port & support (TB 3).
If the display were FHD, I'd pick one up as an LLM-Agentic AI dialog console for my eGPU (TB 3 Sparkle 750 + RTX 3090).

There is a big difference between used and refurbished. Also, there's no point in posting an OOS product.

Hello there!

Not looking to start a battle purchasing a "used" 11th gen vs a "refurbished" 7th gen laptop. Maybe the refurbished one is better...

I posted a sold (today) item to not inadvertently promote a sale. There are more of the same (or similar) laptop for sale at that price.

If the cpu isn't supported, did woot shoe horn it into this Dell laptop?

The last i3 1215U laptop deal was just a few days ago, also from Woot.
