If you are even slightly more serious about progressive weight training for muscle strength, consider an inexpensive squat rack like the Mikolo F4 version 2.0. It comes with so many accessories which makes the package a deal compared to something like this bench-rack. Walmart had the Mikolo F4 version 2.0 for a SlickDeal of about $296 to $329, free shipping. I can attest to the nice quality of the squat rack, accessories, build quality. It is suitable for most people and certainly going to be more useful for a beginner moving toward intermediate strength training. I gave away the squat rack part of my old set up and kept the bench because I like the leg extensions and curling arm support. It works with the F4 Version 2.0 lat pull downs lap brace too.
A squat rack with several accessories is like a jungle gym for adults. It is so fun to work out!
