I love my Bluetti EB3a but it was like 139 and 2x the capacity. Not sure what makes this a deal.

I realize the EB3a deal was a year or two ago, but still.

Right? I've been waiting for something newer than the EB3A with at least 600w AC (non boosted) in the $100-$200 range and everything close to this price range is only 300w AC or less. Hard to beat $110 refurbished EB3A after nearly 2 years.

Strictly speaking, this is over 99Wh which means you are legally obligated to notify the airline before you carry it on the plane so they can approve it (and probably account for it as hazardous on the cargo manifest). Does that mean people don't just carry it on, without telling anyone? no, it doesn't

Has anyone used this with the UPS functionality? I have a mini PC for my home that uses USB C power that would be perfect for this. I am trying to phase out the traditional UPS since their batteries don't last long.

Serious question... Can you define what you consider as lasting long?

The batteries on my traditional UPSes lasted well over four years so I'm curious if I should be upset at that or not.

These are big power banks, not UPSes.

The product listing has a suggested use case of UPS, so that's why I am asking.

I use a Bluetti as UPS and it does the job well. On the plus side, the LFP battery models should last a decade. On the minus side, as far as I can tell these units don't have the USB communication protocol to notify the connected computer on battery power that the battery is running low, so during a power failure the computer won't automatically shut down before the battery runs out and the system crashes.

You can get UPS units with lithium batteries that will last twice as long.

Ah, I didn't see that there... personally, I wouldn't want to chance it.
MAYBE I'd put this between a UPS and the wall for a little extra offline power, but I run 3x 1500 watt UPSes and I find that works for my setup (high-end gaming machine, two displays w/ work machine and 2 displays).

It will be great when these to drop below $100 consistently. I got a Bluetti vElite 30 V2 for about $140. It will be nice when that (or less) is the regular price for the 30. I eventually want to replace all my SLA UPS's with units like these, so I don't have to deal with replacing batteries so frequently.

That's what I'm getting these type of units for. Sick of all my SLA UPS's and all the batteries. Make sure they have 10ms or faster switching time like these do.
