I grabbed the 3mg regular melatonin x 240 for $5.41. 10mg just makes no sense, way too much.

Agreed. At first I started at 10mg and it had adverse effects. Like yes I fell asleep but woke up in the middle of the night. Lower dose helps me sleep and keeps me sleeping.

This is actually a relatively high dose. Try 3 or 5 mg first.

There are also quick dissolve and timed release variants depending on if you need more help falling asleep or staying asleep.
