I just got the other trapper hat, it's basically a fur lined pleather kerchief.
Are you scared that the pleather will start to flake?

I actually love trapper hats! Have 'em in all colors. Never seen one with a built in light. Perhaps may be useful for tradesman working outdoor or hunters.
I have an opinion on headlights that may or may not be insightful. I have done some night fishing with both headlights with a beam and ones that have a flexible cob. With fishing I like a fixed beam that can focus on one spot so I can see my fishing line. Light that is not as focused still helps, but it's not great. The non focused light might be fine for working on cars or stuff close to your face, but focusing on stuff 5+ feet away is not as acute. For less than $8 I'll check it out, and keep it in my closet. I would probably also put heavy duty batteries in it instead of alkaline so they don't leak over time. I would barely use it.

edit; guess I'll skip it. I wanted green, but all links lead to the black version.

How do you we wash this thing? Is the lamp removable?
Yep it pops right out. The light is held in with a silicone/rubber? frame and the light itself is usb rechargeable.

Seems like it might be overkill outside of the tundra, but it's cheap enough to just buy it and try it out.

Damn it looks cool. Totally impractical for California except for that headlamp.
Move to Silverkake in LA. You'll fit right in with the hipsters.

Yep... Low to mid 40's the past few nights, here just 7 miles from downtown L.A. Sometimes, we do have to have more than a hoodie or windbreaker.

Perhaps the light can serve as a solid mounting point for an emblem, badge, logo, etc?

Rabbit fur, or faux fur??
Rabbit fur [dyed] per the Product Details, but I'd be more inclined to believe AMZ reviews and SD'ers that say it's faux fur. I wonder why it'd be allowed to call it 'rabbit fur'? Screencap attached.
