I bought this tv a couple weeks ago for the same price. IMO it's great for 470 after tax. It fits in the back of a Honda Odyssey. Just update the picture settings like the YouTube videos say. Blacks are better than my low end TCL. Not sure how I would consider spending thousands unless I'm playing games or something but my Xbox looks nice on it.

Purchased the 85" version last year and its been wonderful. Fk the haters on this site. Can you link that mentioned YT video.

I think it depends on what you need it for? Gamers might want more than 60fps.

A quick searc for U9700 shows some hate, but it's hard to argue with a 4k 55" tv for $250...
