You can get the exact same square box, just a little taller, but it has eight plugs for the same price if you look if the little bit bigger size doesn't matter to you

This is a special product which has ultra thin plug at 0.35 inch. Tbis is especially useful if you need the plug to not exceed baseboard depth. I do not see many similar products on market. For this type of small strip, number of outlets is not important.

Exactly. As a power strip, nothing special and I'm not going to trust a no-name USB power source with anything expensive. As a very flat plug, good thing. When I put something heavy in front of an outlet I leave a strip plugged in so as to not block off the outlet. I actually consider the USB a negative on this, probably something of a vampire load.

Home Depot has something similar for $10 also. Granted, it has three fewer ports, it is probably enough for most uses. It's their house brand "HDX" if you're more comfortable with that.
