Is this a complete set of the available cards? Or is this a base set and then we end up buying countless booster packs chasing rare cards?

edit: per below there are add-on expansions, but not boosters/rarity aspects.

The Clone Wars version is supposedly better and your collection doesn't need both. But at this price it's hard not to recommend picking it up.

This game is based on the same system as Star Realms / Hero Realms, but is considered a meaningful and thematic evolution of them.

I bought this Oct 2024 but it still hasn't hit the table. How easy is it to learn? My new friends aren't into boardgames / boardgame people [who are used to trying new games and rules regularly]... they'd sooner play chess than learn Catan. What would the learning curve for this game be for them?

It's incredibly easy. Basic deckbuilder premise with the minor twist being that you can only buy your own cards, but you can also use resources to delete opponent's cards from the shop row. Good for both kids and adults

It is not if you mean all cards that the game can offer. There is an expansion if you want everything. I haven't played but I know there is a mandalorian one.
