I highly recommend this if you have the land available to fly it. We purchased this same exact deal (same price) before Christmas. This is the first real drown we have had. It is also some of the most fun we have had and consider it money well spent. We went with the Googles N3 because some in our family wear glasses and this works perfectly instead of using the Googles 3.

This is the "Fly Smart" Combo, not the Fly More combo. The N3 bundle is less desirable to enthusiasts than the "Goggles 3" bundl so I think this is market price.

Good point. Goggle N3 are *fine*... I got this kit last month and it's a really fun intro to fpv drones. The goggles 3 kit will prob be $200+ more.

I purchased the DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo in December for like $1100 from Amazon deal. However, I decided today to return that Fly More Combo (I flew it like once in my living room) and ordered the Fly Smart Combo. I was hesitant about whether the Fly More Combo was worth the extra $200+ for the Sling Bag and the Goggle 3 and some accessories. Asked ChatGPT about these and it said to get the Fly Smart Combo as the Goggle 3 upgrade and the sling bag was not worth the extra $200+, especially since I'm a new FPV drone operator. I bought this even though I've never flown a FPV drone, let alone a regular drone. I ended up also buying a DJI Mini 4K drone to practice drone before I jump onto the FPV. However, I didn't want to miss the deal so I bought both.
I also purchased a FPV Remote Controller on Amazon for smoother controlling for the FPV (Original FPV Remote Controller 3 for DJI Avata 2, Neo, Goggles 3, O3 Air Unit)

I bought the Avata 2 a while back. I can say that it was totally worth it. A different type of experience for sure! I usually get nauseous with VR, but never had problems with it.

That is unsure at this time with DJICare being suspended at this time, only vendor that offers something similar is DJINYC/Camerarise. Asurion is likely the best bet to cover normal non-commercial usage other than the literal drone flying away.

You can buy replacement parts, as long they're the same revision.

Issue has been U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has been halting some DJI's drone imports, citing the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) due to concerns about forced labor violations. Which has prevented DJI's ability to bring in replacement parts and approved drones.

Resellers and private sales have not stopped these from coming in at this time, but servicing, is basically on your own for now or through vendor assistance. Recommend getting a protection plan on these, they'll try to get it repaired or refund your money as long as you can recover the drone and not use it for commercial purposes.
